Terms
These terms apply to all four company formation sites operated by Taktek, LLC: lebaneseoffshore.com, lebanesesarl.com, lebanesesal.com and lebaneseholding.com. The text is the same on each. Only the company form being sold differs.
Who you are dealing with
Taktek, LLC operates this site. Taktek is a software company, not a law firm. Taktek employs no lawyers and gives no legal advice. Hobeich Legal performs all legal work described here. Gracia Hobeich runs Hobeich Legal in Beirut. Gracia Hobeich is a lawyer licensed by the Beirut Bar Association. Taktek runs the intake, the document chase and the payment. Hobeich Legal does the law.
This website is not advice
Nothing on this site is legal or tax advice. Reading this site creates no lawyer-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and Hobeich Legal sign an engagement letter. Until then nothing here is advice you can act on.
What the $500 buys
The $500 is not a deposit held against the price. It pays for work that starts immediately. Hobeich Legal reads what you sent. It checks your intended activity against the rules for the company form you asked about. It tells you in writing whether it is the right structure and what it will cost. That work is delivered within a few business days of payment.
When the $500 comes back, and when it does not
If Hobeich Legal concludes the structure you asked about is not right for you, the $500 is refunded in full. Hobeich Legal tells you what would be right instead. If you decide not to proceed for any other reason after the review is delivered, the $500 is not refundable. The work it paid for has been done. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
The balance, and what the price covers
The balance of the quoted price falls due when your documents are ready for signature. The Standard price covers work by Hobeich Legal and the third-party costs listed on the pricing section. Formations needing a licence, a regulator's consent, legalisation abroad, or carrying nationality or capital conditions are quoted separately as Bespoke. This written quote arrives before anything beyond the $500 falls due. Government charges and notarial fees are set by third parties. They are passed through at cost with receipts and can change mid-process.
What is not promised
Timelines are estimates drawn from ordinary registry practice, not guarantees. No one can guarantee that a bank will open an account for a given company. You should be sceptical of anyone who says otherwise. Registry and notarial practice varies and changes. Neither Taktek nor Hobeich Legal is liable for delay caused by a public authority, a bank, or documents arriving late or incorrectly signed.
What you must do
You must give accurate and complete information. You must tell Taktek promptly if it changes. You must return documents signed as instructed: wet ink, blue pen, the number of originals asked for. The registry rejects documents signed in the wrong colour or the wrong place. These must be redone at your cost in time. Where you sign from outside Lebanon you must obtain a power of attorney legalised at a Lebanese consulate.
Confidentiality
What you tell Hobeich Legal is covered by the professional confidentiality a lawyer owes a client. Taktek sees the information you submit through this site to operate the intake and the payment. Taktek treats it as confidential. Neither passes it to anyone else except as set out in the privacy notice.
If the firm declines the work
Hobeich Legal may decline an engagement, including where a conflict exists, where the activity is one it does not act in, or where identity or source-of-funds checks cannot be satisfied. If that happens before the review is delivered, the $500 is refunded in full.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Lebanese law. The courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here limits any right you have under a law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
